Sudoku, also known as südoku, su-doku or su doku, is the trendy Japanese logic puzzle (crossword / puzzle). The history of sudoku is quite recent, although some French newspapers already proposed similar number puzzles in the 19th century, it was not until the 1970s that the sudoku we know today was developed in Japan. From 2005 (when printsudoku.com started) this logic game began to become internationally popular. The word sudoku in Japanese means (sü=number, doku=only).
The rules are simple, it consists of a 9x9 grid of cells, divided into 9 3x3 quadrants, which must be filled so that all rows, columns and quadrants (sets of 3x3 cells) contain the numbers 1 to 9 without any repetition. Obviously you start with a board started with some known positions. In general, the fewer initial numbers a sudoku has, the more complicated it is, but don't be fooled.
